Thank You, Dad
Father's Day is a chance to celebrate dads.
The men who taught us lessons, gave us lifts, fixed things we broke, supported us when we needed it most, and somehow kept going.
We know that families come in many forms. Some people were raised by stepdads, grandads, uncles, mentors and other father figures who helped shape their lives.
We also know that Father's Day can be difficult for some. Whether you're missing a dad, a father figure, or someone who helped shape your life, we're thinking of you today too.
But however Father's Day looks for you, today is about recognising the people who showed up for us.
The people who sacrificed quietly.
The people who put family first.
The people who were there when it mattered.
At BOOD, we spend a lot of time talking about health, energy and wellbeing. But Father's Day is a reminder that looking after yourself isn't just about you.
It's about being there.
Being there for family dinners.
Being there for the big moments.
Being there for the everyday moments too.
Too often, the people who care for everyone else put themselves at the bottom of the list.
The truth is that looking after yourself isn't selfish. It's one of the most important things you can do for the people who rely on you.
This Father's Day, we're celebrating the dads and father figures who continue to show up, day after day, often without recognition.
To all the dads, stepdads, grandads, mentors and father figures:
Thank you.
Happy Father's Day.
