How do you incorporate health and wellness into your busy lifestyle?
By hitting the gym straight after nursery run and taking my vitamins and seamoss in the morning!
What’s your go-to routine to stay energised and balanced?
SLEEP AS MUCH AS I CAN! eating the right foods and remembering that life is short. That’s enough to give me energy!
Seamoss:
Have you tried seamoss before? If so, how do you like to consume it?
No I haven’t! Trying Boo’d seamoss was the first for me! I like to mix it in my smoothie or take the gummies!
What benefits have you noticed from including seamoss in your diet?
I’m glowing, my skin is looking great! And I’m more energised during the day.
Music & Singing:
How does your music influence your health and vice versa?
Being a musician and working in such a fast paced industry can lead to fatigue and not eating properly! So I have to work hard to not let life get so unhealthy and hectic! Making sure I eat my meals and take breaks for balance!
How do you stay healthy when you have shows/are locked away in the studio?
I just focus on my work and get it done as quickly and efficiently as I can. I love my job, but it gets intense at times, taking walks or getting some fresh air always helps!
Motherhood
As a mother, how do you balance taking care of yourself while taking care of your little one?
Involving him when I’m doing self care! So he joins in and learns about it simultaneously. So if I’m doing a self care task like making a seamoss smoothie or something, he will do the same. If I’m having some quiet time, he’ll copy me. I also explain to him the importance of me taking care of myself so I can take better care of him and he naturally always wants to help me do that.
Any tips for other mothers trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle?
Keep trying! Some weeks it’s goes great some weeks it’s harder to maintain but don’t stop trying! Eventually it will become routine! Also, whatever works for someone else may not work for you, so try and experiment with different things until you find your perfect way of being healthy!
